Gain some valuable triathlon race experience with this beginner friendly event! We will be doing an “informal” sprint distance triathlon along the Chicago lakefront! This practice event starts at 6:30am on August 1st, 2026!
The start and finish location will be Ohio St Beach, with the swim in Lake Michigan and out/back bike/run routes on the lakefront path
Transition will be at Ohio St Beach, and your gear, bike, etc. will be watched while the race takes place
This is not a sanctioned event, and the race route will be open to the public, so it is each athlete’s responsbility to race safely
All athletes are required to sign a liability waiver and must have a bike helmet and swim cap
